About CMTKD
CMTKD (Chris Malarkey Taekwon-Do) on Union Avenue in Belleville, New Jersey is a family-owned traditional Taekwon-Do school running three age-banded programmes: Little Ninjas for ages 3-5, the Warrior Scholars martial arts and academic-support programme for ages 6-12, and Black Belt Leadership for teens and adults. It is led by founder Master Chris Malarkey, a United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee with over 30 years of training and teaching, a background in Hap Ki-Do and boxing, and two published books, who was taught by Grandmaster SJ Kim, a direct pupil of Taekwon-Do founder General Choi Hong Hi. Memberships are advertised with no contract, and new students are offered a free trial class.
