Omaha's Academy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at 4518 South 132nd Street in Omaha, NE is owned and taught by black belt Dennis Bacon, a former college wrestler who has trained BJJ for 14 years and competes regularly on the IBJJF circuit, including Kansas City Open and Denver Open titles. The academy teaches both gi and no-gi, tailoring sessions from hobbyists to hardened competitors, and fields a competition team that has taken adult, youth and overall team titles at Fuji, Grappling Industries, NAGA and Newbreed events. Monthly tuition covers unlimited access to all classes, and private and small-group private lessons are also sold.
