About Mid-America Martial Arts (MAMA)
Mid-America Martial Arts (MAMA) has served the Omaha metro since 2003 with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, judo, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino weapons, a youth programme and Training for Warriors strength and conditioning. Its grappling programme is over 20 years in the making and runs a rotating gi and no-gi curriculum that deliberately spans wrestling, jiu-jitsu, judo, shooto and catch-as-catch-can. Every Muay Thai instructor is certified under Grandmaster Surachai "Chai" Sirisute of the World Thai Boxing Association, has trained in Thailand and has fought competitively; coaching staff also hold Gracie Survival Tactics instructor certification, the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu defensive-tactics system for law enforcement and military.
