About Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center
Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center - College View, at 4707 Prescott Ave in Lincoln's historic College View neighbourhood, is the original of the school's two Nebraska locations, in a facility designed specifically for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It opened on 24 April 2013 and teaches gi and no-gi BJJ from Little Spiders (4-7) and youth fundamentals through adult fundamentals, all-levels, an intermediate BJJ Lab, advanced classes, a women's-only class, an Executive class for over-35s and no-gi takedowns, plus judo for BJJ, MMA and striking, cardio kickboxing and yoga. It carries an unusually deep instructor roster of more than 20 coaches, several holding judo grades alongside their BJJ belts, and runs a Jiu-Jitsu Journey youth sponsorship programme and a partnership with the We Defy Foundation for disabled veterans. Sunday's open mat is free and open to non-members with no mat fee.
