About Martial Arts International

Martial Arts International has served Bellevue and Omaha, NE since 1988 and recently moved to a larger facility at 1420 Harlan Drive in Bellevue Plaza. It teaches a blended curriculum of karate, taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing and self-defense across three age bands — preschool (4-6), kids (7-12) and teens/adults — with a stated cap of no more than ten students per instructor and background checks on all staff. The school is owned by Grandmaster Julius Melegrito, creator of the Stix 4 Kids program, Philippine Combatives and the Sandata Self-Defense System, who teaches self-defense and weapons programs internationally to civilians, military and police.
