Victorious MMA at 444 West Maple Rd in Troy, Michigan was established in 2010 by Victor "El Torito" Torres and teaches gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, judo, combat sambo, cardio kickboxing, strength and conditioning and kids BJJ and Muay Thai. It calls itself Michigan's exclusive home for authentic combat sambo, which sits on the Saturday schedule alongside no-gi, and runs judo on Friday evenings. Jiu-jitsu runs at 6 am, noon and evening most weekdays, and the academy partners with the We Defy Foundation to offer a free Sunday jiu-jitsu class exclusively for veterans, followed by yoga.
