About Reaction MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Reaction MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Nicholasville, KY teaches BJJ, Muay Thai, wrestling, boxing and MMA to adults and kids, including day classes for people with tight work schedules. It is led by Professor Rob Nickerson III, a 3rd degree black belt under Professor Jorge Gurgel through Master Sazinho Sa of SAS Team, a 25-year BJJ veteran with nearly 20 amateur and professional MMA bouts and a 2023 IBJJF top-3 overall black belt ranking (3rd of 951), twice IBJJF No-Gi season champion at M2 super heavyweight and coach to 29 IBJJF grand slam medallists since 2020. He is flanked by six black belt coaches including Kristin Ford, one of Kentucky's first female black belts and a Pans medallist, Landon Caudill and James McCollum. The academy is one of the only IBJJF certified schools in the state and a three-time IBJJF team champion - Kentucky's only one.
