About Criterion Jiu Jitsu of Louisville

Criterion Jiu Jitsu of Louisville trains in a converted church at 2801 Cleveland Blvd east of downtown — the 'Grapple Chapel' — a 2,000 square foot full-time facility with 23-foot ceilings, stained glass, hardwood floors and Zebra mats. It is run by Robert Setree, a 2nd degree black belt under Master Pedro Sauer with over 13 years of teaching experience, and teaches both self-defense and sport jiu jitsu. Unusually, the school built its adult curriculum first and then adapted that teaching for its youth classes, and it invites prospective students to sit in and watch a live class before joining.
