About Area 502 MMA
Area 502 MMA is a 12,500 sq ft mixed martial arts gym in Louisville, Kentucky with a boxing ring, over 2,500 sq ft of matted area and a 3,000 sq ft private fitness gym (The Jungle Gym). It teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in gi and no-gi, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai and freestyle wrestling, with adult, women's and youth tracks (Itty Bitty Warriors, Mat Warriors, homeschool). It is Louisville's only official Carlson Gracie academy; head coach Phillip Perkins is a 2nd-degree black belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. who has cornered UFC athletes and coached fighters since 2009.
