About Mission Athletics

Mission Athletics is a 25,000 square foot training complex at 5265 Rockwell Ste 100 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, built around elite wrestling, jiu-jitsu, strength training and recovery. It has six full-size competition mats shared between wrestling and jiu-jitsu, machine, free-weight and variable-resistance strength equipment, an altitude chamber, and a recovery suite with red light therapy, a hyperbaric chamber, sauna and plunge pools and neuro therapy — free to jiu-jitsu members recovering from injury. The jiu-jitsu programme is structured in phases from fundamentals through live rolling and competition prep and is aimed at youth athletes, competitive grapplers, adults and athletes cross-training from other sports. The coaching staff is led by wrestling coaches with NCAA and Olympic-level records, with Joe Rudd coaching jiu-jitsu.
