Hoosier MMA is a martial arts gym at 162 E Walnut St in North Vernon, Indiana, founded by owner and head instructor Josh Clark, a professional mixed martial artist who appeared on season 19 of The Ultimate Fighter and trained at Syndicate MMA under John Wood before spending nine years at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. Its classes are kids gi jiu-jitsu (ages 6-14), adult gi jiu-jitsu, a women's gi jiu-jitsu class, boxing for ages 12+ and hybrid kickboxing, with gi and glove rentals available for newcomers. Clark is supported by three assistant instructors and the gym fields a jiu-jitsu competition team.
