About Top Level Academy
Top Level Academy is a striking gym in Zionsville serving Indianapolis and Brownsburg, teaching Muay Thai and boxing only. Its Muay Thai follows the Dragon Leg system of five-time world champion and Lumpinee Stadium titleholder Kru "Dragon Leg" Matee Jedeepitak, in the technical Muay Femur style, with students progressing through coloured armbands; its boxing is the classical Ramey's style founded in Grand Rapids in 1927 by International Boxing Hall of Fame member Wes Ramey Sr. and passed down through Wes Ramey Jr. Both disciplines run in CORE and Competitive tiers, with kids Muay Thai three afternoons a week. Head instructor Ian Ransburg has trained since 1999 and has produced multiple national champions at the TBA amateur Muay Thai tournament.
