About The Fort Jiu-Jitsu
The Fort Jiu-Jitsu at 1519 Goshen Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana was established in 2024 when it acquired Get A Grip Jiu-Jitsu, and deliberately fuses wrestling with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - takedowns and top pressure feeding into submissions. The 2025/26 timetable is compact: kids and adult gi classes on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings plus 5am "Morning Rolls" on Monday, Wednesday and Friday that are included with membership. Head instructor Anton "El Terrible" Talamantes brings 37 years of wrestling and 18 of jiu-jitsu plus a professional MMA career, and the facility carries over 4,000 sq ft of mats, a full weight room and five showers.
