About Peoria Muay Thai

Peoria Muay Thai bills itself as Peoria's only Muay Thai gym, dedicated to the history and art of the "Art of Eight Limbs" and set up to make it accessible to a broad audience. Its class list runs Barefoot Boxing (punching, stance and movement only, no knees or kicks), Beginners Muay Thai, Thai Boxing for novices through competitive fighters, Advanced Muay Thai + Timing, and Advanced Sparring. Timing and sparring are gated: students must first be cleared by the coaching staff for technique, control and sportsmanship, and sparring requires a mouthpiece, cup, headgear, 16oz gloves and shin pads.
