About Blue Line Judo

Blue Line Judo on Piper Street in Idaho Falls calls itself southeast Idaho's premier Judo training centre, with an emphasis on competition, teamwork and the Olympic spirit. Classes run Mondays and Wednesdays across four bands - little kids (5-6), kids (7-12), teens and adults - with competition-team practice and Saturday adult training at 11 AM, and students who pass the team test earn the Blue Line Judo competition patch and travel to local and national tournaments. The head coach earned a classical judo black belt at Idaho State University in 1997 under Sami Tatahara, later retrained under coach John Holm, and brings 15 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training and competition to the school's ground game; Vibe Jiu Jitsu, run by two Pedro Sauer black belts, teaches BJJ on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
