MANO JIU JITSU is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy at 2752 Woodlawn Drive on the second floor of Manoa Marketplace in Manoa Valley, Honolulu, founded to spread jiu-jitsu to the people of Hawaii. Its classes are a mixed fundamental-and-advanced Jiu Jitsu class open to all levels, a Fundamental class covering basic movements and self-defense for newcomers, a No Gi Development class built around positional sparring and specific scenarios for anyone looking to compete or sharpen their game, open mat, and Kids Jiu Jitsu for ages 6-12 split into Kids I (6-8) and Kids II (9 and up) on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. Owner and director Jun Hyodo is a black belt who won the 2023 Asian Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship, and instructor Rod Amano is a black belt who took third at the 2021 World Master IBJJF Championship.

Trial class

NO TRIAL IS AVAILABLE. The academy states: "Due to our membership reaching full capacity, we are not accepting new members at this time. As a result, we are also unable to offer trial classes for the moment." A waiting list is offered. Every kids class slot is individually marked 'We are not accepting new members at the moment'. Visitors can still train by paying the drop-in, week or month pass rates.
