Sean, a former boxer who started training in 2014, is a 1st-degree black belt specialising in no-gi and has competed on submission-only stages including EBI, Grapplefest and Submission Underground; Mary, training since 2010, is a 2nd-degree black belt and gi specialist. The academy runs about 15 classes a week: kids BJJ for ages 4-8 and 8-12, adult gi, no-gi, fundamentals, a 5:30 AM "Breakfast Club" no-gi, a ladies-only class, open mat and private lessons.
