About Fellowship Jiu-Jitsu Sarasota
Fellowship Jiu-Jitsu Sarasota was opened in early 2020 by Werther Marciales and Chelsea, who met through jiu-jitsu and later married. Werther is a black belt with 15 years of grappling and 8 years of teaching and serves as owner and head instructor; Chelsea is a blue belt with 6 years grappling and 4 years teaching the women's classes. The school runs homeschool juniors fundamentals classes on weekday mornings, adult fundamentals daily, an adults blue belt class, Little Dolphins for young children, teens and women's programs, a juniors competition team, and Saturday open mats for juniors and for adults and teens. Coaches Logan (purple belt) and Gabriel (blue belt) came up under Werther.
