It is led by Professor Mark Cerrone, a 4th-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Renzo Gracie and John Danaher, one of Renzo Gracie's first students in the United States with over 25 years under him, who still teaches no-gi once a week at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York. The academy runs co-ed classes seven days a week, a dedicated women's jiu-jitsu and self-defense class, children's classes seven days a week for ages 5 to 13, and programmes in MMA, boxing and Muay Thai, wrestling and judo, cardio kickboxing and private training.
