About Arise Martial Arts
Arise Martial Arts is an IBJJF-certified BJJ academy in South Miami (SW 71st Ave), founded July 2018 by Professor Daniel "Diesel" Fundora, an IBJJF 2nd-degree certified black belt and 2017 IBJJF World Masters Champion who trained at Carlson Gracie Miami. Programs include Little Kids (age 3+), Kids, Teens, Adults, and an Elite Competition Team. Michelle Fundora (black belt, Jan 2025) leads the kids and women's program. Regularly hosts seminars and has hosted Clark Gracie.
