About Amelia Island Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Amelia Island Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a Fernandina Beach, FL academy aiming to suit both the hobbyist and the driven competitor, with age bands from Littles (3-4) through Youth (5-15) to Adult (16+), plus dedicated youth and adult competition classes, a Saturday open mat and a Strike Fit striking class. It is led by Professor Brandon Gebel, who started jiu-jitsu in 2012, was promoted to black belt under multiple-time IBJJF world champion Diego Bispo in December 2022, and previously ran youth and adult programs as head coach at UFC Gym Virginia Beach. Private lessons are by appointment only.
