About Invictos BJJ - Jiu-Jitsu Católico
Invictos BJJ is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school that trains inside the Paróquia Nossa Senhora das Dores in Cruzeiro Velho, Brasília, framing the art as a tool for Catholic formation. It teaches boys from age 6 in two groups (6-9 and 10-13) and adult men, with Saturday open mat, a monthly Confraria gathering for students and families, a prayer fellowship and social outreach. Founder and lead teacher Daniel Castelo is a black belt with more than 30 years on the mat, first as a competitor and then as a professor.
