About Bowman Systems MMA
Bowman Systems MMA Academy in Millville, Delaware was founded in 2007 by owner and instructor Noel Bowman and teaches youth and adult boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with daily two-hour midday open mats and one-on-one training by appointment. Its jiu-jitsu curriculum comes from the Lineage BJJ programme at Calvert MMA, originated by Professor James Thrift, a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt under 9th-degree red belt Grandmaster Relson Gracie whose two decades in protective government roles shape the programme's self-protection emphasis; the Muay Thai side is an official affiliate of Kru Christopher Aboy's T.A.G. curriculum. Unusually, the timetable also carries a Thursday morning Balance class and a Friday morning Parkinson's Boxing class.
