About Alliance Jiu Jitsu Tucson

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Tucson is an IBJJF-certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy serving Tucson, Vail, Santa Rita and Sahuarita, running over 35 classes a week Monday to Saturday. Its programme is split into Little Kids (4-7), Big Kids (8+), a competition kids class, a weekday home-school class, and adult gi and no-gi at fundamentals and all-levels, plus personal training and a Saturday open mat. It has served the area for a decade and consolidated into one larger facility in August 2025, and makes a point of accommodating children with disabilities and mental-health needs. Head instructor André Góis is a Brazilian coach from São Paulo; the manager and owner, Professor Ariel Hernandez, is a black belt who began training in 2013.
