About Ares East Mesa BJJ Academy
Ares East Mesa BJJ Academy is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Mesa, Arizona, running gi, no-gi, kids, Little Warriors and women's programmes on a curriculum built around technique, control and strategy. It is owned and led by Professor Alex Martinez, a first-degree black belt promoted by Professor Paul Nava and the Ares Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association in September 2019, with a six-person coaching staff covering fundamentals, mixed levels and the youth classes. The academy is an approved Arizona ESA vendor, so families can put Empowerment Scholarship Award funds toward memberships, events and uniforms, and it publishes a regular training blog.
