Insurgent Jiu Jitsu is the Brazilian jiu-jitsu programme of Insurgent Fitness in Flagstaff, Arizona, and describes itself as an exclusively no-gi academy. Adult classes run six days a week — 60 minutes Monday to Friday, with a women's-only class and a dedicated leg-lock class on Saturdays — and a youth programme takes children from age 4 to 15 with five instructors. The curriculum is organised around positional control, submissions, and escapes and counters, new competitors must complete internal training sessions and in-house matches before entering tournaments, and members train inside a 24-hour facility with a weight room, sauna and cold plunge.

Trial class

Adults get a free trial class and kids get a one-week free trial, but both are restricted to prospective local members: out-of-state and out-of-town guests are excluded and a driver's licence showing a local address must be sent when making contact. Memberships, day passes and week passes can be bought online for immediate access; tours cannot be scheduled by phone or email.
