About BO Yoon's Martial Arts School
Yoon's Martial Arts School on 27 St NE in Calgary is a Hapkido school founded by Grand Master Byung Ock Yoon, a 10th-dan Hapkido pioneer who has taught in Calgary since 1975 and is president of the World Hoshindo Federation. Curriculum-based children's classes run twice a week for ages 4-13 and for green-to-black belts 16 and under, with adult and teen classes for 14+ covering self-defence, break falls, patterns and kicking, plus regular sparring nights, semi-private classes and summer day camps. Master Bobby also offers private instruction spanning elite fitness, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Hapkido and urban self-defence, and a kids BJJ program runs at the school through partner club Athlima Fitness.
