About Gracie Barra Pelham Alabama | Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu | Self-Defense

Gracie Barra Pelham is an Alabama affiliate of the Gracie Barra network, whose curriculum was created by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and which gives members access to more than 1,000 GB schools worldwide plus online training resources. The academy runs kids and teens jiu-jitsu, adults jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA, judo and private training, with an anti-bullying youth curriculum built on verbal de-escalation and non-violent leverage-based control rather than striking, and a structured belt progression from white through the graded youth colours to black. The facility has premium mats, changing areas, a family viewing lounge and a GB Nutrition counter serving shakes and supplements.
